MEET ME AT THE MUDPIT
From September 2022 to May 2024, I helped document and run an underground concert venue out of my basement while an undergraduate at Syracuse University. As a house venue, we helped create a space for students to practice their passions, meet friends, and bring together our community. As an Event Coordinator, I helped ensure a day-of logistics and management of our venue. As our Director of Video Production, I recorded performances with live audio and video. I would additionally edit and publish these performances as stylized short-form recaps of our past shows for social platforms with Premiere Pro and After Effects. These videos directly helped spark excitement and increase presale purchases before our next event. Our video content increased reach to non-follower accounts by an average of 35% and strengthened artist-venue relations.
