ON THE BRINK
Producer and Publisher for Single-player Video Game
TAKE YOUR PLACE AMONG THE STARS
Use Capri's gravity manipulation to slingshot across the universe as she embarks on a mission to liberate a forgotten dimension from the clutches of an all-powerful being. Solve puzzles, uncover mysteries, and shatter space-time itself in this snappy sci-fi action platformer.
I first began meeting with the team in January, where I worked on launching and promoting our Kickstarter, to which we raised $1,362 from 23 donors over one month. I helped develop our copy and brainstorm donation tiers and benefits to entice our backers while not adding too much strain to development deadlines. I worked with our art team to guide and ensure the development of our store page’s graphical assets to the correct specifications. Additionally, as part of developing this game as a capstone at Syracuse University, I took on managing our school-provided budget of $3,000. These included managing payment to our voice actors, audio engineers, and 3D modeler, as well as setting up our Google Domain and Workplace.
As we continued with development, I began to take on more responsibilities as we moved our deadline back. I took on the full role of Producer, as much of the marketing responsibilities would come into play later in development. As we worked remotely over the summer, I took on secretarial duties of scheduling, organizing, and taking notes during meetings with our team members.

I additionally created select animations within After Effects to stay on pace for development. These included our Constelation-Completion cutscenes and our Water-Shield ability. I also helped build our UI icons, including their design and placement.
Producing and Publishing this game has been the most rewarding, uncommon, compelling, stressful, and all-encompassing project I've ever worked on. On The Brink stands as a testament to the teamwork and passion of over 25 students to create something extraordinary. I invite you to play it.
